CHINA, Canton. Large travel writing case in black lacquered wood with gold decoration of figures in palaces surrounded by various medallions. Decorated on all visible sides and inside. It reveals a pen tray and two flaps for stationery. Brass side handles. 19th century. H_10 cm W_41 cm D_36 cm, worn corners and inner hinge to be refastened, one hinge missing, key missing.
