In-4 on ff. in filled cover, chemise and slipcase (worn). Illustrated with fifteen black and white etchings by Jean-Eugène Bersier, including the frontispiece. Edition of 315 copies, this one n°128 on pur fil Lana. Provenance: former David Beccaria collection, Nice. David Beccaria ran an ice-cream business at 2 Cours Saleya, frequented by artists, notably those of the Ecole de Nice. An enthusiastic and highly regarded artist, he built up an important collection of works by his contemporaries.
