Abel CHRÉTIEN (1919-1972). The Plow. Bronze with brown lost-wax patina, signed on the thigh of one of the bulls. On a varnished wooden base. H_25 cm W_48 cm D_31.5 cm (with base) Provenance: artist's estate. Abel Chrétien, born in La Mure (Isère) and known as "artiste des mines", died in Antibes in 1972, was a French sculptor, painter and medalist.
