Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892). An important twenty-four-light chandelier in chased and gilded bronze decorated with garlands, acanthus, foliage and post friezes. The central shaft adorned with bas-relief twisted flutes and putti. Signed. Napoleon III period. H_136 cm D_104 cm, a trace of soldering. Note: according to family tradition, this chandelier was commissioned by the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
