18th CENTURY ENGLISH WORK. Yellow gold onion watch. The gold clasp features Achilles discovered by Ulysses among the daughters of Lycomedes at Skyros. Gold dial with black-enameled Roman numerals for the hours and black-enameled Arabic numerals for the minutes. Center signed JACKSON (?) LONDON. Hand-wound mechanical movement, signed: "...Finch London" (operation not guaranteed). Silvered stylized cock decorated with dragons and foliage. Hallmarks: i star R under marquis crown; lion; flower.
