Robert MICHEAU-VERNEZ (1907-1989) and HENRIOT QUIMPER. Rouanez an Arvor. Polychrome glazed earthenware subject, titled "Rouanez An Arvor" around the rim. Signed with a brush on the back "R. Micheau-Vernez" on the back and "Henriot Quimper" on the reverse. H_32.5 cm L_23 cm, small missing glaze. This emblematic, highly stylized sculpture was produced between 1940 and 1941, and mainly published during the Occupation. during the Occupation.
