White gold ring set with an unheated Ceylon cushion-cut sapphire, weighing approx. 7.5 carats, surrounded by sixteen round old-cut diamonds. Finger size: 54/55. Gross weight: 7.36 grams, 18K, 750°/00. A 2C GEM Paris envelope will be delivered to the purchaser. Note: an earlier appraisal reported this sapphire as coming from the Kashmir region. Provenance: the casket found for Nina del Astar, dancer and actress of the 1920s-30s.
