SUTHERLAND (Graham). Sutherland. Galleria civica d'Arte Moderna, Torino - Exhibition catalog from October to November 1965. One volume in-4. Numerous black and white illustrations. Enriched with a blue ballpoint pen signed by the artist: "Pour David Baccaria. Yours sincerely. Graham Sutherland. Menton le I.iii.72". Provenance: former David Beccaria collection, Nice. David Beccaria ran an ice-cream business at 2 Cours Saleya, a favorite haunt of artists, particularly those of the Ecole de Nice. An enthusiastic and highly regarded artist, he built up an important collection of works by his contemporaries.
