H_126 cm W_184.5 cm, accidents, old restorations Painted by Pécheux in 1804, our painting illustrating air is part of a suite devoted to the elements, all four works having been catalogued in an extensive bibliography. Provenance: Collection of Benedetto Pécheux, son of the artist, Paris, 1808. Acquired by the current owner in the 1970s.
