Richly carved and molded walnut cabinet. It opens with two leaves separated by a term and rests on a console with a baluster front base. Quality workmanship in the Renaissance style. Stencilled mark on the reverse of the Association Générale de l'Ebénisterie Parisienne, founded in 1831. H_184 cm W_139 cm D_53 cm, a few accidents and missing veneers. Provenance: Paul Doumer (1857-1932), President of the French Republic from 1931 to 1932. His estate in Cosne-sur-Loire. According to the card affixed to the back, including one from the chambre consultative des associations ouvrières de production to President Paul Doumer.
