Officer helmet cuirassier de la garde Napoleon III Officer's helmet, cuirassier de la garde, Napoleon III Silver-plated copper helmet (some dents), in two parts (no markings). Gold-plated chinstraps, chased rings. Gilded sandblasted embossed "crowned N" band. Godron crest secured by nine screws. Plume holder without plume Officer's marmoset. Mane with braid. Iron-marked wolf's tooth interior. Visor and nape trim missing. Bomb pierced once. Helmet with all brass parts gilded. Second Empire period.
