Dragoon officer's helmet, model 1874 Silver-plated copper shell (no markings). Gold scale chinstraps. Headband with fine reliefs. Crest with gadroons, secured by nine screws. Plume holder with regulation plume. Mane with braid. Wolf-tooth interior. Nape and visor trim present. Helmet with all brass parts gilded. Third Republic period.
