Light cavalry officer's saber, model 1883 attributed to Capitaine MARION, chasseur d'Afrique 95 cm straight blade with two sides Marked on the edge: "M..ture d'armes de Châtel..lt .bre 1883 Officier de Cava..rie lé Mle1883 Enteprise Henry". Heel 3 cm with three punches Brass hilt decorated with palmettes and three branches with foliage foliage, "Two punches". Horn butt, watermark missing Matte polished cap attributed: "Chasseur d'Afrique Capitaine Marion". Steel scabbard, one matt-polished hoop ring.
