Model 1837 marine saber. - Lot 191
Model 1837 marine saber. 76 cm steel four-sided blade with a few stains. Heel of 3 c with a punch. Marking illegible on the edge. Openwork gilt bronze hilt decorated with foliage and naval anchor. Wooden spindle, no filigree. Leather scabbard, brass fittings, missing an anchor on the chape. Two rings of bélières. Good condition.
