Officer's infantry saber, model 1821. Curved steel blade with hollow sides, 72 cm, rusty. On one side: blued blade with gold scrolls over one third, then "ORDRE PUBLIC". On the other: blued blade with gold scrolls over one-third, then "GARDE NATIONALE". Heel 2.5 cm. In a gilded cartouche: "S § K". Bronze hilt with one lateral branch. Leather-covered wooden handle with filigree. Damaged leather scabbard with brass fittings. Good condition.
