TRAVEL/EXPEDITION ALGERIA] RENAULT/GOLA] Expedition to Bou-semghoune, Abiod m'ta Sidi Chiqr and Berezina, southern Algeria in 1847 under the orders of General Renault, commander-in-chief of the expedition, lithographed album by Edmond Sewrin, One Italian-style volume in half calf, smooth spine with gilt fillets, red percaline boards with: title, 9 engraved plates. Enriched with a letter from General Renault (1807-1870), who played a major role in France's conquest of Algeria, dated 1849. Freckling, dampstaining, damage to spine.
