LITERATURE] DAUDET (A.)] Sapho, Compositions by Auguste-François Gorguet, etchings by Louis Muller, Paris, Armand Magnier, 1897 A large in-4 volume in full midnight blue morocco, decorated with a large floral composition on the boards, ornate ribbed spine (Binding signed kieffer), in slipcase with : 302 pages, engravings and out-of-text suite. Limited edition of 300 copies, one of 40 on vellum, containing a double suite of all illustrations in the text and a triple suite of etched illustrations outside the text. Binding signed René Kieffer. Spine unstained. Traces of wear on cover. A pleasant copy.
