Beautiful vermeil snuffbox with braided decoration, the opening system adorned with a blue-tinted glass cabochon. 20th century French work. Marked with a boar's head. Goldsmith: Raymond SOUBRENIE. H_2 cm W_8.8 cm D_5.3 cm. Gross weight: 99.60 grams, 800°/00, some wear. Presented in a brown leather case. The Raymond Soubrenie workshop, specializing in kits, beauty cases and powder cases, joined forces with Maxime Bois in 1946 to become Soubrenie & Bois, then collaborated regularly with the great Maisons of Place Vendôme.
