A very handsome rosewood marquetry secretary on an amaranth base, decorated with a music trophy under a canopy and bouquets of flowers. The cut-edge uprights are decorated with frieze fluting. It opens with a top drawer, a flap revealing a drawer and locker, and two lower leaves. The top is in veined red marble. Stamped by François Rübestück (1722-1785), received Master on May 7, 1766. Louis XVI period. Gilt bronze ornamentation and key escutcheons. H_145 cm W_98 cm D_40 cm, missing veneers
