Maison GONDARD in Lyon. Travel case in ebony and brass veneer. The lid is adorned with a cartouche bearing the arms of the de Boissieu family, surmounted by a knight's helmet. The interior contains four lined metal and crystal cutaway boxes and two flasks, a removable soufflé mail holder and various burgundy leather-covered boxes, as well as an inkwell. Napoleon III period. H_ 13.5 cm W_29 cm D_21.7 cm, restorations, inkwell damaged.
