Skeleton gilt bronze clock with two chimeras and a scrolled shell. The visible movement rests on two arches, supported by a white marble base. Signed on an enamel plate J. le Paute in Paris for Jean-Baptiste Lepaute (1727-1802), horloger to the King. Directoire period. H_44,5cm L_265 cm, the gilded bronze case protecting the movement is missing on the reverse.
