WORK CIRCA 1935 ATTRIBUTED TO THE HOUSE OF JANSEN. Exceptional rectangular table, forming an oblong table thanks to two extensions (supplied). Original gilded iron structure. The Plot-type legs are adorned with mirrors set in angle irons and rest on doucine bases supported by long, cut-out, overhanging glides. The top is paved with large mirrors set in a gilded iron frame - each end of which can be fitted with a removable curved extension piece of the same design and construction as the central tray. The recessed belt in gilded wood; the underside of the tray is equipped with a folding system to accommodate and support the extension leaves. Rectangular version: Height: 74.5 cm - Length: 169 cm - Width: 105.5 cm Oblong version (with extensions): Height: 74.5 cm - Length: 298.5 cm - Width: 105.5 cm Wear, chips and pitting to the gilding, alterations to the sheen of the mirrored tiles.
