Pascal SÉBAH (1823-1886) and Polycarpe JOAILLIER (1848-1904). Panorama of Constantinople from the Galata Tower. Istanbul, circa 1885-1895. One volume, folio, bound in red cloth with gold lettering. Illustrated with ten sepia silver prints pasted on cardboard. binding in poor condition, photographs in good condition, some wear. Note: Polycarpe Joaillier was associated with Pascal Sebah (then his son Jean Sebah or Jean Pascal Sebah) from 1885. They opened a workshop in Istanbul, 439, Grande Rue de Pera, which became one of the most prestigious in the Near East until the early 20th century.
