LINZELER MARCHAK. - Lot 64
LINZELER MARCHAK. Red-lacquered silver powder compact, decorated in the center with a pagoda set against a mountainous landscape. The decoration consists of mother-of-pearl, hardstone, and gold inlays. The vermeil interior includes a mirror and a lipstick case. Circa 1925. Signed and numbered. H_1.1 cm W_6.5 cm D_5 cm. Gross weight: 113.39 grams, 800°/00, slight lacquer chips at the corners. Note: The partnership between jewelers Alexandre Marchak and Robert Linzeler between 1922 and 1926 resulted in the creation of certain pieces of exceptional technical quality.
