A new edition (the first was published in 1759) of this short, practical manual on dentistry written by one of the most important dental surgeons of the 18th century, who was ennobled by Louis XV. Intended for the general public, this work is a condensed version of his major treatise on dentistry, *Recherches et observations sur toutes les parties de l’art du dentiste* (1757); it would be reprinted numerous times. Binding shows some wear. Interior is in fresh condition.
