Illustrated with 227 superb engravings by Chauveau, Seb. Le Clerc, and Le Pautre, as well as a frontispiece by Lebrun. Crude restoration on the first few leaves. Frontispiece stained, significant crease, visible restoration, pages P441 and 442 torn but with no missing material. Water stain at the top of the pages. Loose stitching. Significant loss on the spine. Blunted corners.
