[LITERATURE/MODERN ILLUSTRATED] ALLAIS (Alphonse)/CERUTTI] Captain Cap: His Adventures, His Ideas, His Beverages, Paris, Mouflon, 1943 A loose-leaf volume with a printed, pasted-down cover, housed in a red slipcase: VII, 191 pp., (4) title pages, 8 color plates as inserts. One of 100 copies printed on white Arches vellum with the inserts (No. 86). Illustrations by Cerutti in the text, engraved on steel, and 8 color plates engraved and hand-colored with stencils, signed by the illustrator. Cover and slipcase show signs of rubbing. Slipcase is damaged.
