A substantial in-8 volume in full calfskin, entirely handwritten, reproducing Gracian’s text from (32), 355 pages.
A collection of aphorisms originally published in 1647.
Dedication on the first few pages, undeciphered.
Fluid and clearly legible handwriting. Red and black ink.
Traces of moisture; ink bleed-through making a few pages difficult to read.
Rounded corners, split spines, missing sections on the spine.
