This copy is enhanced by a beautiful dedication from Henry Lemarié to Robert Blairon, dated March 1955: “with whom it was a pleasure to work, and to whom I extend my thanks for his cheerful kindness…” (Volume III). Each of the three volumes is accompanied by a black-and-white print, a color print, and a color breakdown of one of the illustrations. The first volume contains a promotional specimen (a few pages with illustrations). It is complete with the errata page and the publishers’ note explaining the typographical error in Volume II. A delightful set.
