PLANCHON at the Palais Royal in Paris. Capucine clock in rosewood and gilded bronze. Last quarter of the 19th century. H_20 cm W_11 cm D_9 cm. Mathieu PLANCHON (1842–1921) was a clockmaker who set up shop in Paris, at the Palais-Royal, in the 1870s. He also worked with Jean E. ROBERT-HOUDIN.
