CHINA, 19th century. - Lot 104
CHINA, 19th century. Eight-leaf folding screen in fruitwood and applications of colored hardstones and mother-of-pearl, decorated with apprenticeship scenes, scholars and disciples, on a lacquer background. H_230 cm W_55.5 cm, a few accidents, no hinges, one panel lacks a low decoration, the hardstones are missing. Provenance: French private collection, inherited from an expatriate who lived in Vietnam between 1930 and 1950.
